Teaching and supervision run alongside Mr Elshazly's clinical practice. This page sets out that work, and a new course now in preparation.
Teaching & supervision
Mr Elshazly is an educational supervisor to Dental Core Trainees in the Midlands, and has been involved in interviewing and selecting them.
He has trained oral surgeons and supported maxillofacial trainees through their own training, and is an advocate for the speciality.

Extract-Ed
Extract-Ed is a new two-part course for newly qualified dentists, focused on the principles of safe and effective dental extraction.
Combining theory with hands-on teaching, the course will cover both simple and surgical extractions, with an emphasis on building confidence in an important area of practice that can receive limited practical exposure during training.
Developed in collaboration with Grey Gables Dental Practice in Rugby and Dr Ravinder Kaur.
